At the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017 in September, the world premiere of the new subcompact SUV Volkswagen T-Roc, with the presentation of the model took place a little earlier – on August 23. Judging by the photo of the new Volkswagen T-Roc 2018, the car received a corporate design with faceted lines, combined into a single unit with a head optic three-dimensional grille, and muscular wheel arches. Later for the car will offer a package of R-Line with a more aggressive appearance of the exterior.┬áIn addition, the crossover flaunts the trendy diode DRL (they also play the role of turn signals), a spoiler visor over the trunk lid, a lot of chrome inserts, as well as the ability to order the contrasting color of the roof. In total, the model provides ten shades for the body and four for the top. Salon Ti-Roca is distinguished by traditionally verified Volkswagen ergonomics and familiar to other models of the steering wheel and multimedia system, the screen of which is slightly deployed to the driver. Depending on the configuration, the diagonal of the latter is from 6.5 to 8.0 inches, plus the features of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
For an additional payment for the new Volkswagen T-Roc 2017-2018, a full electronic dashboard is offered, and bright plastic inserts for body color and trendy strips on the seats attract attention.

The basis of the SUV was the modular chassis MQB, which also built a hatchback VW Golf 7. At the same time, in terms of overall dimensions, T-Roc turned out to be even shorter than the latter. The overall length of the model is 4 230 mm, the wheelbase is 2,600, the width is 1,820, the ground clearance (ground clearance) is not specified. The volume of the trunk of the Volkswagen T-Roc is declared 445 liters, and with the rear seatbacks folded back, the compartment size is increased to 1,290 liters. Among the options available for the car on the technical side are the adaptive shock absorbers DCC and the steering gear with variable pitch teeth on the rail. As power units for the crossover, three petrol, and three diesel engines are available. The first is turbocharged TSI 1.0 (115 hp), 1.5 (150 hp) and 2.0 (190 hp) liters, and the TDI diesel engines are represented by “quads” for 115 forces ( 1.6 liters), as well as 150 and 190 “horses” (2.0 liters). The initial versions of the T-Roc are paired with a six-speed manual and all-wheel drive, while the top versions are equipped with a 7-band robotic DSG with two clutches and 4Motion four-wheel drive system with a multi-plate rear axle clutch and selective mode selector wheel. The company notes that the most dynamic 190-hp petrol variant gets a hundred from a place for 7.3 seconds, and its maximum speed reaches 228 km/h. But after some time in the lineup, there will be a “charged” Volkswagen T-Roc R, the engine of which will give out about 250 hp.
