In late February, the Skoda company has extended the first image of the concept VisionC, which was later shown to the public at the March Geneva Motor Show in 2014. The manufacturer positions this model as a five-door coupe.
The basis of Skoda VisionC Concept lay volkswagen modular platform MQB, and is located under the hood a 1.4-liter TFSI engine with 110 hp, which can work not only on gasoline, but also on compressed natural gas.
The design of the prototype is made in the current corporate identity, but using in the exterior design more sharp edges and is not typical of Skoda lighting. It is expected that the length of the model is about 4700 mm, width – 1820, and the value of the wheelbase is 2680 millimeters.
According to preliminary information, the concept of Skoda VisionC will be put into production in 2016 and will take in the range intermediate between Octavia 3 and the flagship sedan Superb 2.
The serial version of the novelty will receive a wide range of gasoline and diesel engines, and then it is possible the emergence and “charged” 300-strong modification of Skoda Octavia RS.
