Within the framework of the Shanghai Motor Show in 2017 the German company Volkswagen has presented a concept electric crossover Audi e-tron Sportback. The car has received coupe body, unique headlights and just three motor. In terms of design the front part of the concept has received an unusual massive grille and unique matrix headlights, which can draw on the pavement different characters. For example, passing in front of the roadway, and on the narrow winding road – to designate the curb. In the prototype there is no side mirrors. Instead, the cameras are installed, the image from which is transmitted to the monitors in the front doors. Shop concept also boasts unusual backlight with glowing inserts 0.02 mm thick, which are available on the front panels and seats. Audi e-tron Sportback built on a standardized platform MLB, intended for vehicles with a longitudinal arrangement of the internal combustion engine. Crossover reaches a length of 4900 mm, and hence the production version of the prototype will occupy a niche between models Q5 and the upcoming Audi Q8. The motion prototype motor lead just three, two of which are mounted on the rear axle, and another – to the front. The nominal output of 435 hp units, but in the short-term peak, they are able to generate 503 power. This filling allows the Audi e-tron Sportback Concept accelerated from zero to hundred in 4.5 seconds, with a set of battery capacity of 95 kWh, located under the floor, for maximum cruising range of 500 km. The decision on the possible release of the production version of the model will be made after the exhibition based on the feedback of the public and journalists. It is expected that the trade version of this model may appear in 2019.
