Japanese automakers Toyota and Subaru have begun a joint project to build a small rear-wheel drive coupe in 2008. Since then, Toyota showed three different concepts, including one under the name Scion, Subaru and was limited to only a transparent layout. But at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show 2011 will be presented to the public for the first time a full-fledged concept of rear-wheel drive coupe from Subaru, which will be called BRZ (short for Boxer Rear-drive Zenith). More details about the Subaru BRZ is not reported. It is assumed that the engine power of new items will be about 260 hp, as well as the transmission will be offered as a manual and automatic six-speed box. It is noteworthy that the production version of the coupe as Toyota, Subaru and must be shown at the same time in December this year, and the beginning of sales is planned for next year.
