South Korean Kia company is preparing a large rear-drive coupe concept which must first be shown at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show this fall, and then at the International Auto Show in Detroit in early 2012. According to the publication What Car? the car will receive the base of the new Kia K9 flagship sedan and the V-shaped eight-cylinder engine. No further details about the project are still unknown. Big Kia coupe is necessary to strengthen the image of the brand and, if the reaction is positive to the concept, in a series of such a vehicle can be started in 2015.
