Infiniti unveiled in Geneva 2011 Etherea concept

The Japanese company Infiniti brought to the Geneva Motor Show 2011 concept car Etherea with an unusual body, which can be attributed to several classes. In fact, this one-volume hatchback with features and crossover sedan.
The car turned out very compact, with a length of just 4.4 meters. Today – this is the smallest model of the Infiniti ever produced by the company.
And this is the first in the history of the brand model with front-wheel drive. The movement causes Etherea 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine with 245 hp and working together with them a small electric motor that at low speeds allows pure electric drive. Torque is transmitted to the wheels through variator CVT.
The Infiniti are looking at a class of compact cars, so Infiniti Etherea in the future could become a production model, but it will happen no earlier than 2014. And look, of course, will simply: swing doors and no central reception to the pipeline are unlikely to survive.
