Hyundai Sao Paulo HB20 and HB20X hatchbacks

In mid-September 2012, the company introduced a five-door Hyundai HB20 hatchback, developed based on the i20 model specifically for the Brazilian market. The letters HB in the index just means “Hyundai Brazil”. Premiere of new items was held in late October at the Motor Show in Sao Paulo, where the stand of the South Korean automaker with the base version of the hatchback is located and all-terrain version of the Hyundai HB20X.
The latter has a more massive bumpers, a different grille, protection of the perimeter of unpainted plastic bodywork moldings on the doors, roof rails, increased ground clearance, 15-inch wheels and improved interior trim. As for powertrains hatchback Hyundai HB20 offers a 1.0-liter engine capacity of 80 hp and a more powerful 128-horsepower engine cylinder capacity of 1.6 liters.
Also worth noting is that both are dual-fuel engine and can operate not only on gasoline, but also ethanol. Cost hatchback HB20 in the local market starts at 31,995 reals (12,200 euros), while the price of HB20X will be slightly higher, but how it is – is not reported. Production of both models will establish a new Brazilian plant in Sao Paulo, and HB range soon expanded due to the appearance of a sedan.
