At the Geneva Motor Show in 2011, several companies presented their new supercar, was among them, and the German manufacturer Gumpert, who brought in Switzerland built in one-off prototype Tornante. The design and manufacture of vehicle body panels labored Italian bodybuilder studio Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera. Compared to the Gumpert Apollo, a new Tornante little added in dimensions and weight. The length of the supercar is 4 475 mm, wheelbase – 2700 width – 1971, height – 1 215. According to the manufacturer, the maximum speed of the new Gumpert Tornante to exceed 300 km/h and acceleration time from zero to a hundred only takes three seconds. Originally we planned to establish a production car in 2012, while its price was about 800,000 dollars. But then the company was on the brink of bankruptcy, so the plans had to be abandoned. And during the Geneva Motor Show in 2014 the Germans were again reminded about the project Tornante and now promise to present the vehicle ready for release in 2015. However, it will be collected only in the case of a prepaid reservation for a particular client.
