The network has the first photos of the new Volkswagen Jetta 7 generation, which is expected to be launched in mass production in December 2017. It is not excluded that the premiere models will be held at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
Even the pictures show that the Volkswagen Jetta 2019 in the new body was significantly larger than its predecessor, as evidenced by the windows that appeared in the rear racks, which had not been before.
In front, the new Jetta 2018-2019 is distinguished by a wide grille in the manner of the Arteon model, diode sections in the head optics and a ribbed hood. From the rear, attention is drawn to the trunk lid in the form of a small spoiler and elongated lights that resemble those on the Skoda Superb 3.
There is no photo of the Volkswagen Jetta 7 saloon yet, but for sure inside the sedan will get an electronic instrument panel (as an option), improved finishing materials, a standard ergonomic model for models, and more space inside the car.
The former Jetta is produced in 2010, and the seventh generation machine will finally move to the modular MQB platform. Its use will allow a little weight reduction and improve controllability. Under the hood, TSI gasoline turbo engines of 1.4 and 2.0 liters are expected, and in a number of markets, a 1.6-liter atmospheric MPI will be offered.
