At CES 2017 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, BMW introduced the concept i Inside Future, designed to demonstrate how the German brand experts see the interior of the cars of the future. In the prototype, there are no physical buttons, and the control of all functions of the multimedia complex is carried out by means of a large holographic display HoloActive Touch, which combines the advantages of a projection display, “intuitive” touchscreen and gesture control technology. The projection of the image appears in the concept of the center console, while electronics follows the movements of the fingers, which seemed to touch the touch screen. Among the other features of the concept BMW i Inside Future mention deserves a shelf for storing books, which the Bavarians were placed under the right side panel. When it is a holographic display appear on production cars of the German mark is still unknown.
