Yesterday, AvtoVAZ has started pilot production of the versatile platform on the French B0, which is used for the family car Renault Logan. The car, codenamed Project R90, was first shown at the Moscow Motor Show in 2010 and is version of Dacia Logan MPV. By the end of this month at the Volga automobile plant should be built five prototypes Lada R90, and their production is scheduled to begin in Togliatti next spring. It is expected that the cost of this wagon will be about $8,000, and later on it will be based and utility version that show promise in August at “Interauto 2011” in Moscow.
