At last year’s Tokyo Motor Show was presented to the crossover Volkswagen Cross Coupe Concept, is driven by a hybrid, combining a petrol turbo 150 hp and two electric motors – one for each axle. And at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show in 2012 the German automaker will show the upgraded version of its concept, replacing gasoline engine under the hood on four turbodiesel. As a result, the total output of the hybrid power plant has increased from the previous 265 to 306 hp and a top speed VW Cross Coupe Concept has increased to 220 km/h versus 201 km/h in the previous version. Separately, it is worth noting that the average fuel consumption of this crossover is only 1.8 liters per hundred kilometers and emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere – 46 g/km. The rest, except for the color of the body in red instead of silver, the car remained unchanged.
