Volkswagen Sport Coupe Concept GTE hinted at the new CC 2

At the exhibition in Geneva in 2015 the Germans were presented four-door Volkswagen Sport Coupe Concept GTE, which is the forerunner of the serial Passat CC 2 generation.
As previously reported, the future Volkswagen Passat CC 2 will be much different from the source code externally, and shown only confirms this concept. The car has received the original front end with the large grille, combined with head optics.
In addition, Volkswagen Sport Coupe Concept GTE got windows on the rear rack, which is lacking in the present Passat CC. The interior of the model is made in a minimalist style, but boasts spacious in all areas, a panoramic roof and a large touchscreen on the center console.
Overall length Volkswagen Sport Coupe Concept CTU is 4869 mm, the value of the wheelbase – 3020 width – 1864, height – 1 407, the amount of luggage – 470 liters. The basis of the model laid down modular chassis MQB, and cars in motion resulting hybrid propulsion system.
The composition of the latter includes a 3.0-liter gasoline turbo engine, two electric motors on the rear axle, a set of lithium-ion batteries and a 6-band robotised transmission DSG with two couplings.
The total power of 380 hp engines that VW SCC GTE provides acceleration from zero to hundred in 5.2 seconds and a top speed limited to 250 km/h. The electric range of 50 kilometers, the average fuel consumption in the combined cycle is declared at the level of 2,0l/100 km.
