Volkswagen has brought to the auto show in Detroit 2012 conceptual VW E-Bugster, which introduces of an electric version of the new generation Beetle hatchback. Externally, the car boasts a stylish LED running lights in the front bumper, reduced roof, wide rear pillar, which lost the side windows, as well as increasing the windscreen and large 19-inch wheels. But the main thing – Volkswagen E-Bugster Concept is an environmentally-friendly, because it results in the movement of 85-horsepower electric motor, powered by located in the trunk of lithium-ion batteries. Cruising electric “Beetle” is 160 kilometers, and the charge of its batteries can be carried out on 120 and 240-volt network, as well as rapid charging system that fills the battery to 80% in half an hour. Hardly a car in the near future will be the serial, but the technical developments the German company is required to be used in their other models.
