Subaru company has brought to the Los Angeles Motor Show in 2016 the prototype of the big seven-seater crossover called Viziv-7. Concept gives an idea about the design and size of the future of the flagship off-road vehicle in the line of the Japanese manufacturer. Subaru Viziv-7 Concept was branded a hexagonal grille, aggressive bumper, swollen fenders and fashionable diode lighting equipment. No technical details about the car is not reported. By its dimensions Subaru Viziv-7 can be compared with the Chevrolet Tahoe, CA – concept of length is about 5200 mm, the value of the wheelbase – 2900, height – 1 860. At the moment we know that the basis of the production version of the model lies the new Subaru global platform. The company stressed that the car will not be positioned as the successor to a failed model of the Tribeca (from 2005 to 2014, managed to sell only 78 000 cars). It is expected that the production version of the car will be known as Ascent, and its sales will begin in the United States estimated in 2018. It was under this name the Japanese presented at the auto show in New York 2017 an updated version of Viziv-7 prototype, which received different front grille and bumper, less futuristic lighting equipment, as well as changing wheels and mirrors. In addition, the machine added to the interior, in which the control of all functions, including the work of windows, displayed on the touch panel.
