The updated crossover BMW X5 (E70) 2013, prices and equipment

Crossover BMW X5 of the second generation in the back of E70 is produced since 2006. The car replaced the model of the first generation E53, and four years after the start of production planned restyling it’s time. The updated car made its debut at the auto show in New York 2010. Externally, the restyled BMW X5 E70 is not much different from the pre-reform machines: slightly modified bumper, new taillights, retouched front optics, a wheel design – that’s all the basic changes in trends.

In the car there were also almost unchanged. As an option, an opportunity to order a heated steering wheel, ventilated front seats, a panoramic glass roof, four-zone climate control, DVD Entertainment System and a large 8.8-inch display system iDrive. The main differences between the updated BMW X5 E70 are hidden under the hood. The 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine gave way to row turbo “six” with the same volume (engine was named N55), an outstanding 306 hp and 400 Nm torque capacity. This enables the crossover to reach a maximum speed of 235 km/h, and to disperse hundreds fell to 6.8 seconds.
Version X5 xDrive50i boasts a 4.4-liter V8 Twin-Turbo (instead of the 4.8-liter naturally aspirated V8), which develops 408 hp and maximum torque of 600 Nm. With this powertrain BMW X5 2013 shoots from zero to a hundred in 5.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 250 km/h. Turbodiesels remained the same, although their output is still slightly risen, but the entire economy significantly increased motor line. It is worth noting that the two petrol engines now meet European standards “Euro 5”. The price of the new BMW X5 E70 2013 begins with a mark of $20,000 for the initial version of the xDrive35i. And for the 407-strong crossover with M-Service Dealers are asked to $74,000. All cars are equipped with exclusive 8-speed automatic and have a four-wheel drive.
