Toyota showed in Tokyo a hot-rod KIKAI concept

In early October, the network appeared the first pictures of futuristic Toyota KIKAI concept, which was later shown to the public at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2015 at the end of the month. Due to its specific design of the novelty is extremely difficult to identify. In fact, it is half the hot-rod and half buggy.
In the prototype Toyota Kikai there is a clear lack of body parts, and the operation of the machine components and assemblies can be seen from the outside. Even in the cabin at the feet of the driver, there are small windows through which you can see the front suspension and brakes. The Japanese say that in this way they wanted to emphasize the complexity and beauty of the mechanisms of the car.
Dimensions Toyota KIKAI Concept is 3 to 400 mm in length, 1 800 – 1 and the width 550 – high. The size of the wheelbase is 2450 millimeters. Despite its compact dimensions, the concept has three seats, while the driver’s seat located at the center, and passenger – right behind him.
In addition KIKAI, Toyota brought to the Tokyo Motor Show in two prototype – hydrogen FCV Plus and “budget” sports car FR-S.
