Toyota patented the technology of transparent front pillars

Toyota’s North American division has patented the technology of “transparent” front racks that will get rid of the “blind” areas in front.
Specialists of the Japanese brand suggest using instead of expensive video cameras a system of translucent mirrors, capable of projecting everything that is hidden from the driver’s eye behind the front desk directly to the rack itself. To do this, the latter will be covered with a special reflective opaque material.
Unfortunately, representatives of Toyota are not yet ready to say when exactly such a technology can appear on the serial models of the brand.
