In January 2015, the first in South Korea, the long-awaited presentation of the new SsangYong Tivoli crossover, the development of which took 3.5 years and more than 320 million dollars. European premiere SsangYong Tivoli took place at the March Geneva Motor Show. Solutions for serial SUV driven around by the manufacturer on the whole bulk of the concepts demonstrated in all major auto shows. Tivoli new SsangYong name was in honor of a small Italian town, located about thirty kilometers from Rome. Outside Sang Yong Tivoli is made in the new corporate style of the company. The car sports a head optics with LED sections, muscular wings, stylish elongated rear lights and the original black stripe on the side windows, visually separating the roof, which can be painted with a different shade of the body color. Overall length of the new SsangYong Tivoli (2015-2016) is 4 195 mm, the size of the wheelbase – 2600 width – 1795, height – 1 590 mm. The boot capacity is 423 liters, and when folded back rest of the sofa form a flat floor.
In addition, representatives of SsangYong claim that Tivoli has received ample opportunity to personalize, and the highest quality interior trim in the classroom, and the development model had the task “to combine all the advantages of a crossover with the comfort and convenience of a sedan.

Specifications. The crossover is built on a new platform in the front suspension used independent scheme McPherson, behind – twist beam. Steering is equipped with electric power, and has three operating modes: Normal, Comfort and Sport. The base engine for the front-drive version of the SsangYong Tivoli became the new 1.6-liter gasoline engine e-XGi160 capacity of 126 hp (160 Nm), combined in a pair with a 6-speed manual or a dedicated six machine. Later it will be all-wheel drive version with a diesel engine of similar volume. Its characteristics are not specified yet.

Packaging and prices. Sales of the new Sang Yong Tivoli in the domestic market has already started, and European buyers can purchase a crossover summer 2015, but the price has not been announced. It will happen at the end of 2015 – early 2016. The SsangYong Tivoli equipment includes seven airbags, advanced multimedia system with smartphone connectivity, a rearview camera, keyless access to the interior, seat ventilation, and more.
