Shelby introduced modified versions of the Mustang to SEMA 2017

The company Shelby presented two special versions of the updated oil-car Ford Mustang of the sample of 2018. The premiere of the novelties took place at the motor show SEMA 2017. The first modification received the long name Shelby Super Snake Wide Body Concept and is a harbinger of the commodity model, which the company plans to start production in the near future. Compared to the usual Mustang, the conceptual Shelby Super Snake has a wide body kit, the installation of which makes the oil car 100 mm wider behind and 63 mm front. This car has a completely modified front bumper with a double splitter, a new hood and modified air intakes. In the swollen wheel arches, two-door rims feature special rims with thick tires. A small spoiler appeared on the stern of the car. The second novelty was the premiere of the 2018 Shelby 1000 program, available for all Mustangs 2015-2018. It provides for the installation of a body kit, which is similar in many ways to that shown on the Super Snake Wide Body, as well as a serious upgrade of the power plant. Instead of the standard 5.0-liter V8 engine, it is planned to install a new 5.2-liter engine, modified cylinder heads from the GT350, and a 4.5-liter Whipple supercharger. Modified in this way, the oil car develops already 1,000 hp.
