Seventh generation Volkswagen Golf will debut in Paris 2012

Volkswagen company promises to provide regular, seventh, generation of the popular Golf hatchback at the Paris Motor Show this fall. The development of the car takes place in secrecy, so a large number of details, unfortunately, no.
It is known that the new VolksWagen Golf 7 will be built on the platform MQB, which later will form the basis of other models, including convertibles.
There is no precise information regarding the motor and scale of future trends. Perhaps the main current will be three-cylinder devices, which function as a pair with the “mechanics”, and with 7-range robot DSG. Later, it is possible the emergence of hybrid and even all-electric versions of the Volkswagen Golf VII.
It is expected that the first cars will appear at European dealers by the end of 2012.
