Serial crossover from Maserati will be in 2012

First talk about the crossover brand Maserati began in November 2009, and it seems the rumors are not there. At the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011 the public will be presented the concept of the future of Italian SUV built on the US platform.
As previously reported, the base for a crossover SUV Maserati will provide a platform Jeep Grand Cheroke new generation. From him will be borrowed and 6.4-liter gasoline engine HEMI V8, issuing 477 hp and maximum torque of 637 Nm. Information on the use Ferrari engines for the news has not been confirmed.
