Renault Kwid, presented on May 20 in the Indian city of Chennai – this is another small step in the direction of the French automaker’s globalization of its products. Being manufactured in India, inspired by the design of Dacia/Renault Duster, and built on a platform of CMF-A, half-crossover, Kwid hatchback positioned as a simple and functional tool for personal transportation needs. In addition, Renault sees Kwid as affordable cars for overseas markets. So the question is – will he in Europe? It appears, but is likely to receive a label Dacia. As a reminder, Dacia – Renault is also a brand, but with a bias in the budget.
