The Mitsubishi company announced the beginning of a service action, within which will be recalled 5,493 ASX crossovers and 33,406 off-road vehicles Outlander, sold from February 2015 to June 2017.

According, these machines had a problem with power plants, namely the incorrect operation of three relays: the motor control unit, the fan and the windshield heating.

Because of this defect, the engine of the SUVs may die out, while the Check Engine light comes on indicating a breakdown of the driver. In this case, it will not be possible to start the engine again.

As part of the recall campaign in the service centers of the Japanese brand will make a free replacement of all three relays. You can see the list of recalled copies on the site, where VIN-numbers of all potentially faulty machines is published.
