Premium brand DS introduced electric car E-Tense

At the 2016 Geneva Motor Show premium brand Citroen DS by the company will introduce electric concept E-Tense. In terms of design the novelty has received a lot of stylistic solutions from the concept of the Citroen Divine the DS, presented at the Paris Motor Show 2014. In addition, the developers have gathered a few ideas from the original Citroen DS (1955). One of the distinguishing features of the concept of DS E-Tense are Adaptive LED headlights, which are able to rotate 180 degrees. Most likely, this will have in the future, optics and production models of the French brand. The company notes that in the interior designing model took about 800 hours. In the development of interior design involved premium brands such as the BRM Chronographes, Focal and Moynat. The car has received a unique front panel, which is mounted 10-inch touchscreen display. Dimensions prototype chassis built on carbon, up to 4720 mm long, 2080 mm wide and 1290 mm in height. It is known that the electric car has received an independent double wishbones front and rear. The motion DS E-Tense Concept brings electric motor 402 hp (516 Nm). The power unit is powered by a set of lithium-ion batteries, the capacity of which is 53 kWh. When fully charged, the battery compartment can travel up to 360 kilometers (urban and mixed – about 310 km). At the same time from zero to hundreds of E-Tense accelerates in 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 250 km/h. DS will be decided whether to launch the electric vehicle in the series, is still unknown.
