Peugeot Onyx Concept promises to be a show-stopper in Paris 2012

Peugeot Company will bring to the Paris Motor updated coupe RCZ 2013, as well as its “charged” version of the RCZ R. They will be a compact crossover 2008 Concept, but the real show-stopper promises to be an incredible Onyx supercar. This car is equipped with a 3.7-liter eight-cylinder diesel engine, issuing 600 “horses” and working together with a six-speed sequential transmission. Also on board Peugeot Onyx Concept is a system recovery, accumulating braking energy in a lithium-ion batteries. During acceleration the stored energy can add up to 80 power to the main motor. Overall length Peugeot Onyx concept is 4 650 mm, width – 2200 mm, and height – of 1 130 mm. The car body part is made of sheets of copper (doors and front fenders), and partly – from carbon.
