Peugeot dedicated L500 R Hybrid concept, bolide 1916

Peugeot has unveiled a futuristic prototype L500 R Hybrid, which is dedicated to the bolide L45, winning the race in 1916, “500 miles of Indianapolis.” The concept is a hybrid power plant with total capacity up to 500 hp (700 Nm). Its membership included 270-horsepower gasoline engine and two electric motors, one mounted on the rear axle, and the other – on the front. Due to its low weight (only 1000 kg) and powerful enough stuffing prototype Peugeot L500 R Hybrid is able to accelerate from zero to hundred in 2.5 seconds. The car body is painted in the same color as a classic car, and the interior concept is made in the style of the interior serial i-Cockpit range , but it looks more sporty. We note that the French abandoned the classical instrument panel, setting instead holographic display. In 2015, Peugeot produced a similar prototype for the game Gran Turismo 6, but if the new L500 R Hybrid will be in a racing simulator, is still unknown.
