At the Goodwood Festival of Speed in the presentation of the “hot” Peugeot 208 GTi hatchback in special version 30th Anniversary, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the brand GTi. The world premiere of the model took place in autumn 2014 in Paris.
Externally special version Peugeot 208 GTi 30th Anniversary distinguish an ordinary model of extended track (22 mm front and 16 mm – Rear), reduced by 10 millimeters of ground clearance, big black 18-inch wheels, enhanced arch, enlarged rear spoiler, chrome fittings exhaust system and black matte body mirrors, edging and grating raditora fog light.
Under the hood of the car was the 1.6-liter THP petrol turbo engine from standard 208 GTi, but its capacity was increased from 200 to 208 hp and maximum torque increased from 275 to 300 Nm. Thrust is transmitted to the front axle via a 6-speed manual transmission. In addition, the hatchback is equipped with Torsen limited-slip differential on the coupe Peugeot RCZ R.
From zero to hundreds of Peugeot 208 GTi 30th Anniversary accelerates in 6.5 seconds (0.3 sec. Faster than the standard 200-hp hatch) and a kilometer from a standing start the car travels in 26.5 seconds. The manufacturer also notes that special version engineers revised chassis tuning and steering from the car.
Presented at Goodwood hatchback painted in black and red – on a similar principle to the “charged” Peugeot 308 Concept R, but the buyers will be able to rent a car in white Pearl White or red Ruby Red. European sales of new products launched in nobyare 2014, no pricing information.
