Compact Opel Corsa hatchback 5 generation got a “warmed up” version of the GSi. At the same time, the new modification is available exclusively with a three-door body type. Outside, the Opel Corsa GSi can be distinguished by enlarged air intakes in the front bumper and bonnet. Plus, the car got stylized carbon-like mirror housings, door sills, spoiler on the tailgate edge and red brake calipers. In the interior of the modification, there are aluminum pads on the pedals and a sports steering wheel. For the additional charge, you can order reclining buckets Recaro. It is known that the model is built on the chassis of the “charged” version of the Corsa OPC. This “trolley” has an understated suspension with stiffer springs, shock absorbers and a rear stabilizer, as well as a more “sharp” steering wheel. Information about the power unit version GSi has not yet been announced. According to rumors, the Germans installed the most powerful of the “civil” motors of Corsa on the hatch – this is a 1.4-liter “turbo-quater”, which works in tandem with a six-speed mechanics, developing 150 hp. With this engine, acceleration to hundreds takes 8.9 seconds, and the maximum reaches 207 km/h. The sale of the GSi corset is scheduled for the summer of 2018, and the “heated” modification will be sold immediately under two brands – Opel and Vauxhall. The price of new items is not called.
