Mitsubishi has promised to make the look of the front of the Outlander crossover more aggressive, but the last restyling models the situation is not particularly fixed. Nevertheless, there is hope for improvement. At the motor show in Paris in 2014, presented the Japanese Outlander PHEV Concept-S, which must be prototype Outlander after the next update, scheduled for 2015. If the production version will be similar to the concept, it will be a step in the right direction. As the name implies, it is based on a prototype hybrid Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV – under the hood crossover is a 2.0-liter gasoline engine with 134 hp, and on each axis is further set of 80-kilowatt electric motor powered by a set of lithium-ion battery capacity of 12 kWh. Front Concept-S sports a fashionable LED optics, a grille and bumper others. The vehicle interior is virtually identical to the serial, but can boast of a red leather upholstery, wood accents and a new steering wheel.
