MINI presented the extreme John Cooper Works GP Concept

At the Frankfurt Motor Show 2017, the presentation of the MINI John Cooper Works GP concept, built by the company in honor of the 50th anniversary of the victory of the British brand at the Monte Carlo Rally, will be held.
This hatchback received a front bumper with a massive splitter and air intakes, wheel arch extensions, side skirts with integrated aerodynamic elements, as well as a massive rear wing and a rear bumper with a diffuser. All elements of the body kit are made of carbon fiber.
The engineers of the company tried to simplify the design of the car as much as possible, therefore not only the audio system and air conditioner were removed from its interior, but also the skin was removed, instead of door handles, rags are used here.
MINI JCW GP Concept received a safety framework and racing bucket seats with five-point seat belts. In the salon there was also a projection display and a digital instrument panel, with the gear shift lever replaced with paddle lobes. Information about the technical filling of the prototype the British have not yet revealed.
