MINI Paceman successor may become Countryman Coupe

The journalists learned from Auto Express BMW chief designer Adrian van Hooydonk, that the successor of MINI Paceman crossover will be a five-door coupe, which will receive a sloping roofline and Countryman will be part of the family.
This solution specialist explained that the 5-door cars provide additional comfort, as in the case of the need to take on board additional passengers, and for the convenience of transportation of items in the cabin.
That new product is expected to be called MINI Countryman Coupe and built on a front-wheel UKL1 platform. As for the powertrain lineup, the five-seater coupe receive engines from the usual Countryman – namely, three- and four-cylinder engines ranging from 136 to 192 hp
In the market the successor Mini Peysmen appear in 2018, and eventually he will be off-road modification, which will receive a protective body kit, suspension recustomized, increased ground clearance and appropriate tires.
