Mini brought to test its first electric vehicle

The MINI brought to test the prototype of its first electric vehicle. Tests have passed beyond the Arctic Circle, where all year round there is a very low temperature. Strictly speaking, do not try to find any differences in the car from the usual hatchback, and dorestayling: the British brought the “mule” on which the knots and units run.

A serial version of the first ever MINI electric vehicle will appear in 2020. According to the British media, the MINI Cooper E will not be able to boast of any outstanding results: the power reserve will be only 305 kilometers, the acceleration to 100 km/h will take 7.5 seconds.

The production of the power plant for MINI and almost all the units of the electric vehicle will be established at the plant of the “parent” BMW company. In the UK, cars will simply be collected.

Most likely, almost immediately after the hatchback, the MINI will also have an electric crossover in the scale. But so far neither its appearance, nor even approximate specifications are unknown.
