Michael Schumacher announced his retirement

Last week, the team Mercedes AMG announced the contract with Lewis Hamilton, whose team mate next season will be Nico Rosberg. But the seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher lost his job. On Thursday, 4 October 2012, at an official press conference in the forthcoming Japanese Grand Prix Schumacher announced his retirement in Formula 1 at the end of the season. Recall that this is the second such farewell Michael – the first was after the race at Monza in 2006. In place of the “Red Baron” Ferrari team invited Kimi, and now the factory Mercedes team replaced German champion at Hamilton, although the Michael says he does not hold any grudges and who was aware of the negotiations team. Schumacher also recognizes that failed to perform its tasks, but spent three seasons after his return in 2010 were not in vain. According to Michael, the ability to play often less important than the ability to win. Alas, since the resumption of a career idol of a huge number of fans all over the world and has not won a single victory, although a couple of times was very close to this, but circumstances decided otherwise. Currently, Michael is focused on the current season – ahead of the six races, and what to do next Schumacher has not yet decided – at the end of the year he will have enough time to think about it.
