The first spy photos of the future Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster appeared in the summer of 2009. A few days ago the car was again spotted at the Nurburgring, but with minimal camouflage on the body. Among the main differences between an open version of the coupe can be called a standard door, moved from the rear window on the trunk stop signal, as well as, of course, a folding cloth roof contrast with the body color. It is expected that the Mercedes SLS AMG Roadster (Mercedes-AMG GT) will get the same powertrain as the coupe – a 6.3-liter V8 rated at 571 hp (650 nm). Acceleration from zero to hundreds of increase to four seconds flat and a top speed of 309 km/h. The world debut of the open version of the SLS supercar will be held this fall at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 2011, after which the new product will go on sale as a 2012 model.
