New Mercedes-Maybach S-Class 2017, prices and equipment

As previously reported, Mercedes-Benz German automaker has decided to revive the Maybach brand, but this time not as an independent company, and as a sub-brand for release under it the most luxurious versions of its models.
The first of these was a sedan based on the S-Class W222, which got the name Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, and its premiere took place in November 2014 at the same time at two exhibitions – showrooms in Los Angeles and Guangzhou, China.

Outside, the car is not much different from the standard S-Class. Emphasis is placed on a slightly enlarged grille in size, appropriate nameplates, own design wheels and a modified design of the rear doors, which were 66 mm shorter (in comparison with the door long wheelbase version), and triangular side windows are moved to the rear rack.

Engineers worked on all the elements, completion of which would allow to improve the level of acoustic comfort. Upgrades have undergone even mechanisms in safety belts, and the coefficient of drag of a large sedan, equal to 0.26, is comparable to the same hybrid coupe BMW i8.
Sales of new products launched in February 2015. First became available to order Mercedes-Maybach S600 with the 6.0-liter V12 twin-turbo power of 530 hp (830 Nm) and 7-band automatic.A later version of the S500 came with a 4.7-liter bi-turbo “eight”, issuing 445 power and 700 Nm of torque, which is combined with a new nine-automatic.
Both versions have a rear-wheel drive and gain a hundred in 5.0 seconds (top speed is limited both at 250 km/h), but in July 2015 the first Mercedes-Maybach S500 received a version with a proprietary all-wheel drive 4MATIC, and in August became the Order S400 option is available starting with a three-liter V6 rated at 333 hp Later the manufacturer presented a stretched limousine to meter the Pullman , able to take on board two additional passengers.
