New Mercedes EQC: the first electric-crossover brand

At a special event in Sweden, the German automaker presented its first fully electric production crossover Mercedes EQC – its world premiere will be held in October at the Paris Motor Show 2018.

Outside, the new model Mercedes EQC 2019 recalls the eponymous concept of two years ago, but still does not repeat it exactly. The all-terrain vehicle received a wide glossy panel in front, combining the head optics and the radiator grille, or rather its image.

Unlike the prototype, the ready-made electric car was equipped with traditional door handles and rear-view mirrors, and the lanterns on the stern were made narrower

In the interior of the new Mercedes-Benz EQC almost everything is familiar on other models of the brand. Behind the three-spoke relay wheel with small sensor panels on its spokes are two 10.25-inch displays – the left one is responsible for drawing the graphics of the virtual instrument panel, and the right displays the Navia, or the menu of the MBUX multimedia system with voice control.

A distinctive feature of the crossover can be called only the central air ducts of the rectangular ventilation system, to the left of which is located the electric vehicle start button. By the way, when ordering the package “Electric Art” the slats of these ducts will be covered with pink gold. Plus for the design of the exterior and interior models available packages AMG Line
