In mid-September 2016 the Germans presented an open supercar Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster – its world premiere was held at the end of the month at the Paris Motor Show. Thus, after the appearance of the coupe, it was exactly two years.
Externally, the new Mercedes-AMG GT Roadster (2017-2018) received the Panamericana grille in the style of track modification AMG GT-R with fifteen chrome vertical ribs. The front bumper is not as aggressive as in the “R”, but the side air intakes in it bigger than a conventional coupe.
The rear bumper has got ventilation holes on the sides and on the boot lid appeared integrated into it stoplight. Folding soft top (can be black, red or beige) transformed for 11.0 seconds, and the procedure can be done on the fly if speed does not exceed 50 km/h.

The weight of this roadster is 1 660 kg, and from the source code, it differs extended rear track, and wings (+ 57mm). And Mercedes-AMG GT C received chassis, lockable rear differential electronically controlled adaptive dampers, customized exhaust system with variable valves and motorized louvers behind the front bumper.
