The new McLaren 675 LT is equipped with a 3.8-liter engine V8 twin-turbo, the return of which was increased from 650 to 675 “horses”. Among the main elements of the modernization of the engine for McLaren 675 Long Tail called new turbochargers, cylinder head, crankshaft, lightweight connecting rods, fuel pump and exhaust manifolds. In addition, the supercar received a titanium exhaust system. The design of the McLaren 675 LT more widely adopted lightweight materials, reducing weight by 100 kg (1 230). A new body kit allows you to generate 40% more downforce compared with the model 650S. In this work the front splitter, side skirts, diffuser and a large retractable rear wing “Longtail”, which can also operate as an air brake. Becoming more powerful and lighter, the new McLaren 675LT improved and its dynamic performance. Now track supercar that is certified for public roads, with hundreds gathering place 2.9 seconds (0.1), and from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.9 seconds faster. (0.4 is a faster new Ferrari 488 GTB). The maximum speed of the model is 330 km/h. Receiving orders for the new McLaren 675 Long Tail is already open – in the UK asking for it by 259,500 pounds, and the first customers will receive their cars in July 2015 th.
