At the Festival of Speed at Goodwood in 2013 the company presented the McLaren Automotive MP4-12C supercar modification of a track called 12C GT Sprint. This is an intermediate option between the base coupe and a racing version of the GT3. Externally, the McLaren 12C GT Sprint can be distinguished by carbon-fiber rear wing, air vents in the front bumper and trunk lid, as well as enlarged front air intakes. Under the hood was a supercar 625-horsepower V8 engine cylinder capacity of 3.8 liters of the standard model of the McLaren MP4-12C, but he got a new cooling and lubrication systems. Transmission has also remained the same – it seven-speed robot with two clutches. This McLaren 12C GT Sprint features migrated suspension, lightweight carbon-ceramic brakes, integrated pneumatic jack and 19-inch wheels with central locking, “shod” in slick Pirelli. By the end of 2013 it is planned to build twenty-coupe McLaren 12C GT Sprint, the cost of each of them will be around 232,500 euros.
