Mazda brought in Tokyo coupe RX-Vision Concept

At home in Tokyo Motor Show in 2015, Mazda has brought the concept of RX-Vision with a rotary engine. Previously, the network has repeatedly appeared information that the Japanese are preparing a successor model RX-7 and RX-8.
Unfortunately, official information about the launch of the prototype shown at the auto show in the series yet. But journalists publication Autocar suggests that the finished version of the model based on the Mazda RX-Vision Concept will be no earlier than 2017, as well as one of its key competitors called the Porsche Cayman.
Design coupe Mazda PX-Vision is made in the current company style “KODO”. The car boasts a very long hood, short overhangs, low roof and large 20-inch wheels on the tire dimension 245/40R20 front and 285/35R20 – rear.
There is also a large hexagonal grille, narrow head optics and taillights reminiscent of similar models in the RX-7. Interior Mazda RX-Vision Concept made in minimalist style with a retro steering wheel, analog devices, metal plates on the pedals and sports seats.
According to unofficial data, the overall length of the prototype is 4389 mm, the value of the wheelbase is 2700, width – 1925, height – only 1 160, which is even less than the roadster Mazda MX-5 is the latest generation.
The movement of the vehicle causes a rotary engine SkyActiv-R, but no details about it are not reported.Again, there is an assumption that its output is around 300 hp, and it can be combined with both the mechanics and a robotized transmission with two clutches. It is not excluded that such a motor and can be equipped with a turbine.
