The Maserati company has produced another version of its GranTurismo coupe, to get to the title prefix Sport. The new model will replace the index S, and its presentation will take place at the Geneva Motor Show in 2012. In contrast to the GranTurismo S, the Sport has received a front bumper with enlarged air intakes, decorated in the style of a top modified MC Stradale, retouched optics, as well as a new steering wheel in the cabin and sport seats. In addition, the 4.7-liter V8 engine in the Maserati GranTurismo Sport boosted from 440 to 460 hp. At the base it is mounted in a pair with the automatic transmission and robotised transmission available as an option. Exact dynamic characteristics of new items are not reported in the company says only that the Sport is dispersed to hundreds of less than five seconds. But it is not surprising, since the less powerful “esque” and so does it in 4.9 seconds.
