The Marussia team introduced a new MR02

For half an hour before the first test session in Jerez team has introduced a new car Marussia MR02, which was first developed completely independently by the classical scheme with a purge of models in a wind tunnel. Recall that the first machines and Marussia Virgin created exclusively by means of computer simulations under the guidance of Nick Wirth, the services of a team which was abandoned in mid-2011. Structurally Marussia MR02 was the evolution of last year’s car, but the first time in the history of the received kinetic energy recovery system KERS. In addition, the team first had to prepare the new car for the first test session. The development of the new car by former Renault designer of Pat Symonds, and the pilot’s composition now include Max Chilton, who replaced the departed in Caterham Charles Pick. The name of the second pilot is not yet announced. We note that the leadership of Marussia refused the services of an experienced Timo Glock, who will continue his career in the championship DTM.
