Indian company Mahindra introduced the updated crossover XUV500 2018-2019 (photo, price). For the model, this is the second restyling, during which the specialists of the brand tried to modernize the look of the car and improve its technical equipment.

The all-terrain vehicle received an abundant chromium-plated radiator grille and a different configuration of navigation lights. The fodder has also undergone changes: the fanciful shapes of lanterns now go far into the trunk lid, while the spoiler on the top of the latter has become noticeably larger.

Engineers Mahindra has worked on improving noise insulation “five hundred”, but the design of the interior has not been changed. Of the innovations is worth noting only the black glossy coating of the center console.

In addition, in rich trim levels, the front panel now has an artificial leather trim with a stylish stitching, and the seats have a more fluffy “leather” upholstery of light brown color.

Under the hood of the Mahindra XUV500 (characteristics) is an upgraded 2.2-liter turbocharger mHawk with a new turbocharger – the engine output has been increased to 155 hp. (+ 15), and the peak torque is 360 Nm. It is combined as a pair with a six-speed mechanics, and a similar automatic machine.

Since December, two thousand and seventeenth car can be ordered with a petrol version of the same engine, giving out 140 forces and 320 Nm (goes exclusively with an automatic machine). The drive on the SUV is the front one by default, and the all-wheel drive transmission is only for top versions with diesel.

During the restyling, the equipment of the initial versions of the XUV 500 remained the same. The cheapest option is equipped with ABS without stabilization, two airbags and a simple audio system without a touchscreen.
