In the early nineties, the model number of the British Lotus company (now Malaysian-owned concern Proton) present a compact Elan convertible. And here, at the Paris Motor Show in 2010, the company introduced revived Elan. Working in tandem with a 7-speed transmission DCT, coupe weighing 1295 kg is able to dial 100 km/h from a place in just 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 310 km/h. Later, Lotus intends to present Elan with a hybrid power plant, can significantly reduce fuel consumption and emissions. The sale of new items will appear in the autumn of 2013 to as low as 75,000 pounds.
