Lotus 3-Eleven – the fastest and most expensive serial Lotus in the company’s history. Presentation roadster held in late June 2015 at the British Festival of Speed Goodwood. At the heart of the new Lotus 3-Eleven is an aluminum monocoque and body panels are made of composites. Vehicle weight is less than 900 kg. The company prepared two versions of the model: Road, and a track Race. The movement 3-Eleven Lotus leads upgraded 3.5-liter “six” firms Toyota, which is placed as the Evora 400. The latter also has a reinforced safety cage and a slightly different aerodynamic (generates downforce of 215 kg at a speed of 240 km/h). As a result, the maximum speed version Race slightly lower than the road version (278 versus 288 km/h), and from zero to hundreds of 3-Eleven is accelerated for three seconds. Both versions of the roadster equipped with independent suspension double wishbone with Eibach springs and adjustable shock absorbers Ohlins. Results will be released only 311 copies of the Lotus 3-Eleven. The cost of modifying the track is £115,000 to £200,000 and the price of the road – 82,000 pounds. The first customers will get the machine in spring 2016.
