The Lexus company introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2011 the long-awaited service pack for its supercar Lexus LFA. The package, dubbed Nurburgring Package, was announced a year ago, but finally was ready just now.
It is noteworthy that it will be able to buy, not all owners of the LFA, because it will be released a limited edition of fifty pieces. This means that only 10 percent of the owners of the supercar will be able to get a package of Nurburgring.
So, what it includes. Firstly, the return of 4.8 liter V10 increased by 10 hp – Up to 571 hp. Six-speed sequential transmission has become a “rate” and is able to touch the transfer of 0.15 seconds, 0.05 faster than does the standard version.
Externally Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition can be distinguished by a decrease of 10 mm ground clearance, carbon-fiber front splitter and a small flaps on the sides of the front bumper, fixed rear wing made of carbon fiber and a new lightweight wheels, “shod” in racing tires.
All this has reduced the acceleration time from zero to a hundred to 3.7 seconds, but the maximum speed remained the same – 325 km/h. Extra Nurburgring package is 70,000 Dolar, however, remains open to question, whether to buy it the very first owners of LFA.
