According to the publication Autocar, at the upcoming Frankfurt Motor Show in 2013 the company will present a pre-production version of the Lamborghini supercar successor Gallardo, who, as previously reported, can get the name of Cabrera (in the end the car was named Huracan).
The model will form the chassis of the Audi R8 next-generation, and in the design of both models will find widespread use carbon fiber and aluminum. It is expected that the Lamborghini Cabrera will be 16 mm longer than the Gallardo (up to 4500 mm) and width (1900) and height (1165) will remain unchanged. The size of the wheelbase add up to 2600 millimeters.

The movement of the Lamborghini Cabrera will result in an upgraded version of the 5.2-liter naturally aspirated V10, which will enhance the returns from the current 560 to about 610 “horses” and the six-speed robotized transmission replaced with a new seven-speed, which already is equipped with the updated R8.
Of course, as before, the new product will be available not only to the rear, but also with all-wheel drive and the beginning of its start of sales is scheduled for mid-2014. Pricing information yet.
