Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept received the engine from Nissan GTR

From season 2013 Infiniti car company became the title sponsor of the champion team Red Bull in Formula 1. The line producer is already crossover FX50 Vettel Edition, and on the Detroit Auto Show in 2014 presented another project.
Meet sedan Infiniti Q50 in version Eau Rouge, so named after the famous turn “Red Water” at the legendary Belgian circuit of Spa-Francorchamps. However, while this model is only a concept.
Externally Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge Concept flaunts aerodynamic elements which are made of carbon fiber. It consists of a front splitter, side “skirt”, rearview mirror housings and diffuser, which is located in the center brake light.
In addition, the car got a roof made of carbon fiber, other bumper, hood and other stylish 21-inch alloy wheels, behind which can be seen painted in red brake calipers. The cabin fitted sports seats and leather steering wheel with gearshift paddles, and the center console and door panels adorn the red carbon fiber inserts.
Initially on a technical stuffing of sedan Infiniti Q50 Eau Rouge in the company have not been reported, but in March 2014 the model presented at the motor show in Geneva, where it was reported that under the hood of the sedan is located 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine with two turbines capacity 568 hp (600 Nm) borrowed from the Coupe Nissan GTR. Thus, this prototype became the most powerful car in the history of the Infiniti brand.
The engine is mounted in a pair with a 7-speed automatic transmission, providing a sedan accelerates from zero to a hundred in less than four seconds and a top speed of 290 km/h. And now the manufacturer thought about creating sub-brand (the name for it has not yet been invented) to release them under the “charged” versions of their models to compete with the production units of AMG and M Performance.
Note that Infiniti is already at court studio IPL (Infiniti Performance Line), which appeared in 2010, but it has been mostly just finalizing the exterior and interiors of mass-produced cars without affecting seriously the mechanical component.
In the summer of 2014, President Infiniti, said that if the car will go on sale, its value can be around $ 100,000, which is considerably more expensive competitors. However, the manufacturer may subsidize each car, in order to reduce prices for consumers. But in the end, it became known that the manufacturer abandoned plans to launch production of this model.
