The Hyundai company built a prototype of Le Fil Rouge, which is designed to demonstrate the new design direction of the brand. Before the audience, this concept was presented at the March motor show in Geneva 2018.
Luc Doneckervolke, the designer’s chief designer, noted that when designing the four-door design, the brand’s specialists were inspired by the appearance of the 1974 Pony Coupe model, which was created in the Italdesign studio.
Outside, the distinctive feature of the Hyundai Le Fil Rouge Concept is the lack of traditional lighting in the front. Instead, it uses a large lightbar.
The salon of the prototype has four separate armchairs. The very interior is made in a futuristic style with inserts of natural wood. The latter can be seen on the front panel, the doors, and the central tunnel.
Also, several displays are installed inside the car. One of them is used as a dashboard, and a number of others are located on the doors. Plus in the backs of the rear seats is also mounted on the monitor.
Technical characteristics of the Koreans concept preferred not to disclose. However, in the series, such a machine still will not work, but a number of stylistic solutions used here will find their application in future models of Hyundai Genesis.
